Mark Hyland is the director of our Financial Services Division, Hyland Financial Strategies. Mark spent the majority of his professional career with the James Graham Brown Foundation, which at nearly $500 million is Kentucky's largest private foundation. He held the title of Executive Director and Treasurer when he left in December of 1997, after 15 years of service. Mark received his accounting degree from the University of Louisville in 1980 and his Master in Business Administration from Bellarmine University in 1990. He currently holds his Series 6, 26, 63, and 65 securities licenses. Mark adds value to our personal and business clients with specialized financial planning tailored to their particular needs.

Rick began his insurance career in 2007 as an owner agent with State Farm Insurance. He has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Bellarmine University, an MBA from the University of Louisville, and a Certificate in Executive Management from the University of Notre Dame. Rick’s main focus is commercial insurance but he also is very capable of helping his clients in their personal lines needs as well. He prides himself on managing the risk of his clients and making sure all of their insurance needs are covered against everyday occurrences.

Terry started with Hyland, Block & Hyland in 1997 and now has become Vice President of Business Insurance. He is a graduate of Bellarmine University where he received his degree in Business. Terry specializes in serving the insurance needs of business in the metro Louisville area. In 2004 Terry earned his Certified Insurance Counselor designation which is a highly regarded achievement as an independent agent.
